About Me

Hi, I’m Summer—the messy apron behind Summer & Cinnamon! I’m a mom of three energetic boys, born under the Arizona sun and now happily rooted in the Utah mountains. Life here means hiking trails, chasing new adventures and finding joy in the simple, everyday moments with my family.

When I’m not out exploring the great outdoors or at sporting events, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen—flour on my shirt, music playing, and something delicious in the works. Cooking started as a hobby but quickly became one of my favorite ways to connect with the people I love most.

This blog is my cozy corner of the internet where I share the recipes that fuel my family, brighten our busy days, and (hopefully) inspire a little joy in your kitchen too. I’m not a professional chef—just a mom with a sweet tooth, a spatula, and a passion for creating simple, real food made with love (and often, a sprinkle of cinnamon).
